Lumbini Vidyut Udyog Pvt. Ltd. was established in the year 1977, under the leadership of Mr. Anand Mal Baid, the CEO of the company. The organization is remarkably making a pace under the umbrella of Lucky Group, one of the biggest private industrial and trading conglomerates in Nepal. The group is involved in diverse business of trading and manufacturing of consumer goods like vegetable oil/ ghee to engineering and chemical goods like cement, PVC compound and master batch, different types of pipes (LDPE and PVC), enamelled wires, paper covered wires, conductors and insulated cables etc with an annual turnover of more than Rs 1500 million.

Infrastructure
We have a sound infrastructural base that is well equipped with latest technology machines and equipments. In the production unit, each production step considers the proper resource utilization and energy conservation. The product design and production planning along with housekeeping activities are highly considered during production process. To keep pace with the advancement in the technology, we continually upgrade the production machines.

Quality Our Motto
We are a quality centric organization, thus we maintain the quality of the products at every level of production. Our quality control team keeps a close eye at every stage of production from the procurement of raw materials to the finished product. The Routine Test is carried out to test the manufacturing process, Type Test is carried out in sampling basis to confirm the relevant specifications and the Acceptance test is done in our laboratory prior to dispatch the wires/cables as per customer demand, if required. The final product is issued with a test certificate conforming to the relevant standard. As the company has been certified with quality management system (ISO 9001:2008) and NS mark (National Standard), it becomes imperative to ensure as the third party certification to our customers.

Packing
We give utmost concern to the packing of the products. Thus, every product is marked with brand name and wrapped properly. The domestic wire/cable is packed properly with the packing details in coil; however, the industrial cable is packed in non-returnable wooden drum. We pack the products in quality packing to assure the easy drum handling. The packing and constructional details of drum components can be made available to the customer on request.

Use of modern tools like NS, QCC, CP and Total Quality Management system have assisted us in delivering impeccable products.
